really strange acceleration
I have a 88' CRX and just performed a DPFI to MPFI swap on it. when the car is in park it will idle correctly and will rev up no problem. when i put it in gear... it goes nowhere. It took about a mile just to hit 55. i can floor the gas and the rpm's go up and the engine revs but the car goes nowhere, and it still shifts. and ideads on what that could possibly be?

Yup, im saying the same. Unless youre fuel filter or pumps starting to go but the car would sputter

well you say the car goes nowhere but im taken this as just to mean slow takeoff? being you said takes a mile to hit 55 . if this is so i was driving down the road one day in my mothers reno and it started doing the exactly same thing when i pulled over i pushed down all the spark plugs and it fixed it i guess one rattle loose thats one thing to check maybe youll get lucky like that . another thing a friend of mine had a car that did this that turned out to be a tiny hole i a vac hose another thing to check after the plugs. ill cross my fingers for ya good luck
