First off, it is a 1997 Civic Ex Coupe.

I am going to paint ym tail lights, and I was wondering how to get the stock ones off.

I know this sounds really stupid, but i searched here, nothing, and I can't find my helms manual, what a bitch huh??

Please help asap, I want to get this done today.

just pull it out really hard.

 

i'm just kidding. there are 10mm nuts that you have to remove. they are behind the plastic panels that are in the trunk.

for real though....you have to push real hard, not pull.

There is 4 screws in the trunk area per light. You need to pull away the fabric on the trunk and you'll see what I mean. 10mm bolts nuts if I remember correctly. The inners have 4 as well, but one is on the edge of the trunk lid.
