I agree 100%.....I would even argue that if you look long enough, you should find one for a ways less than $15K........Good luck on your hunt.

so i went and test drive the tl(for 13.9k) and after i put it in drive and rolled say 10ft, i pressed on the brake firmly. During which there was a loud grinding noise on the passenger side front wheel. Any i deads what this, also the outsides of all four tire treads are worn low?
Brakes need to be replaced so it sounds.
BTW, I bought my 2003 TL-S with 70K miles for 17K from a dealer. It has Navi though. It had the warranty up to 109K miles... It's at 116K now.

Best case, the car was sitting for a while and the calipers and rotors need to "roll" some rust off. Worst case, the rotors and calipers need to be replaced - this is not a big deal, and something that you can do yourself if need be.
As another point of reference, I got an 03 TLS for $11K - 97,000 miles. All service work was done at the Acura dealer, and interior and exterior were in very good condition. Not a smokin deal, but not bad - I needed a car and was willing to pay a tad more; didn't have the time to scour for the perfect deal.

My friend picked one up with 43k for $9,000. Search around. Definitely don't get one that hasnt had the tranny swapped out. Mine is in the shop right now and they want $3700 for the tranny plus labor. I have 140k on mine and they only warranty up to 100k.
