some q's about ls/vtec in 93 civic ex!!!!
ok, a buddy of mine has this 93 ex civic, thing looks very very nice, but, it is also very slow, and he wants to do an ls/vtec swap in the car, but i dont think he realizes everything he has to do, like all the b series mounts he has to get, and he thinks he can use his tranny, and his sohc vtec ecu to control the car, i just wan someone to explain the difficulty to him, cuz he doesnt beleive a word i say, he pretty much thinks, he can go buy a cheap ls block, and a cheap b16a, or some vtec head, and just throw it on the block and hes gunna have a strong motor, but i know there is a lot more to it, if you wanna do it right and have your motor run for more than like 10 minutes. i wanna hear what you guys have to say then ill tell him to read this!!!
There's plenty of websites out there that you can show him. I dont know the exact names but it should be close to these.
