Default AC the same on a D15B and a D16z6

im getting a new D15b motor to replace my d16z6 and needed to know if all the ac components from the d16z6 would fit the same on the d15b motor

Sorry i been asking alot of questions about this i just haven't ever dealt with motor and a few concerns have arisen

actually, a/c compressors are the same for the:
92-95 civic (all models)
96-00 civic (exc. si)
94-95 del sol (all models)
96-97 del sol (exc. B16A2)
97-01 crv.

it doesn't make a difference if the motor is vtec or not.

no, b-series compressors are not interchangable with d-series motors.
now, it can be reversed. you can use a d-series compressor on a b-series motor with the right compressor mount.</TD></TR></TABLE>

yes they are the same..but be aware the pipes that go into evaporator might be different and alos ac dryer and receiver might be different too.

vo tech you start it in 9th grade but i moved in my 11th grade year so i dint finish it there then i went to 1 year at a techbical college and my first eg was given to me by my sis when i was 13 i lived up north and thats where i really learned how to drive. the poconos to be exact

there it is just to clear things up

i have been an automotive technician since age 16 FULL TIME.
i was certified at age 18 (earliest possible, and even then you have to have 2years HANDS on)
i was ASE mastertech at age 20
and im now 24 and have owned 14 hondas

if i didnt have 3000+ post would you still believe me???

There was a guy in my autoshop class that had taken it since 9th grade straight through senior year and he could diagnose and repair like it was nothing, that's why I say it's not impossible. Regardless of post count (which hardly verifies anything) reading some of his posts made me question if what he says is true. Try it.
