i've got a quick question about a set of cams that a fellow tunner has for sale that are supposed to be from a b18c5. i've done some searching and now know how to tell the difference between stock b16a cams and the type r's and gsr's. the only thing is, i didn't pay attention to the ends of the cams when i saw them, only the stampings in the middle of them. the stampings were H on the exhaust side, and F on the intake. i have a stock set of b16a cams and they have a D and K (i believe) on them. i talked to someone and they told me that those stampings didn't mean anything, just some weird thing with honda inventory . i'm thinking that those stamps have to mean something, right? i mean why would they be there. i'm going to get another look before i buy them, obviously, to check the rings on the ends, but my question is do those stamping mark the difference between the cams?
