ls turbo or b20 turbo

Default ls turbo or b20 turbo

i want to get atleast 300hp. what would be the safest way to do it with a stock bottem end

An LS/VTEC would be the safest way to make that kind of power. The B20 has the weakest sleeves of all B series meaning your tune will have to be spot on or you risk detonation and a ruined engine. To be honest, even though its not a choice, a GSR would be the best route. I made 315whp for 2 years on my stock block GSR.

LS...B20 has thin cylinder walls. I am going to say the "best" way is to boost the VTEC engine....but you do not need it for 300 WHP and would be a waste of cash IMO....just a careful tune and a good turbo setup and the LS is good to hook.

so would it be safe to do an ls and still get any where from 225-250hp
