Default confused...PLEASE HELP

It might be linked with the problem i posted abt the 3k rpm at hwy speed of 80 mph......

but i posted here a while back, because my car was jerking when i was stopped at red lights. it even jerked while i was driving like esp on the highway when I wanted to give the car more gas.... soon after that i was having an engine misfire, so i changed the spark plugs and the misfire and the jerking both went away for a few days. The jerking how ever came back, and I went to the tranny shop which rebuilt my tranny, and they told me it was the lockup control solenoid that needed to be changed. So i picked on up (had a different shaped screen then original) and had the tranny guy install it. The jerking came back and it jerks alot now while im driving. maybe its because the solenoid has a different screen? Also i havent had a tune up ina while now, and I was thinking that could be one of the problems? I am ready and would like anyone to help me. Thanks in advance

the thing is, i had it rebuilt 6k miles ago, and still have a warranty left on it from the shop who rebuilt it....should i take it back and have them take care of it, or pay the extra bucks and get a tranny from honda, which won't be cheap esp since i wanna sell the car?

Since his is a 2.3 and not a V6 I don't think your experience is applicable here. I would go back to the shop that rebuilt the trans and See what they can do. Don't assume that your trans is gone because there are many reasons you could be having the symptoms you are experiencing.

"The jerking came back "

100% trans problem......when the car jerks like that it means the trans is jumping in and out of gear and that **** is toast..........he already addressed the shift solenoid and the screen so.............that does not leave much else

and you are aware that ALL 98-02 accords have this problem right? It isn't just the V6 cars.......the problem manifests itself more in those cars due to the increaesd power. The warranty extenson is for ALL of the 00-01 cars and others regardless of I4 of V6 are considered on a case by case basis.

I did my research and understand what the problem with the transmissions are.
