Brake clonking sound when brake pedal is pressed???

Default Brake clonking sound when brake pedal is pressed???

Hi all,

When I first start my DC5 to take off, the first time i press on the brake pedal, say when i get out of my drive way etc. I hear a clonking sound coming from the underneath of my car??? Its not to loud, but its definetly there? Anyone know what it might be??

Its the brake pads sliding in the caliper. You can duplicate the sound by going back and forth pressing the brake pedal.

Thanks Kidnkorner, Is it normal for it to do that?? My mates cars dont do it?? Can I fix it? Is it a large problem or can it lead to one??
