I recently purchased a hatch Swapped with a LS/VTEC. The motor has not ran for about a year and half and I have been attempting to start the motor. The motor will turn over and attempt to start and you can actually hear the car briefly want to crank all the way, but it doesnt. I did a regular tune up and the car appears to be getting fuel and ignition. Would anyone mind giving me a check list of things that should be checked so I can try and get this car running. If anyone has a good write up of troubleshooting things I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

 

COuld be something to do with blocked air, maybe your dizzy is going out or something, just make sure your fuel pump is clicking when you turn over the key, something could be clogged. My buddy had a b16 that he bought then put in his EG. The damn thing would not start for 3 damn months come to find the the intake manifold was hella clogged up and wasn't getting enough air flow. So just check your fuel, air, electrical like all fuses. Let me know after you do all that man. Hope you find out whats up with it

 

well we changed the plugs once again with some ngks and the car started up. Its running extremely rich and the plugs are black with excess gas on them. The car breaks up horribly bad and really cant accelerate. The car has a P30 installed but were guessing a tuning issue...
