is the p2j-4 a vtec head and if so is it a z6 or y8. am i correct in saying z6 obd1 y8 obd2 thanks searched no luck and yes i am a newbie

 

if it has a vtec sylonoid on it its a vtec head check for the year stamp on it to see what year it is that will tell you if its z6 or y8. and yes z6 came out of a obd1 car and y8 came out of a obd2 car but you can use either one for either obd doesnt matter.
