small charcoal canister hose location??? HELP
Finishing a b16a2 into a 93 cx hatch... and I need to know where the small hose with white writing on it goes. More specifically: the "small" black vacuum hose, it has white words on it... that starts out on the charcoal cansiter, the black can under the fuel service can on the firewall by the battery....and is about 2 feet long. On a 92-95 motor car it attatches to something wierd on the back/top of the intake manifold. Thanks!!!
Not sure about that car particularly... But charcoal cans usually have 3 hoses. One goes to the gas tank, one goes to a vacuum source, and one is an open vent.
Yup, I know one goes off somewhere to the GAS tank, one to my EVAP Purge solenoid, and the small black one with white letters and numbers, says TA YUSA 7, TA YUSA 7, all the way down.... I need to know where it goes to the b16a2 USDM motor not JDMs hope that clarification helps....need to find an answer soon
THANKS~~
THANKS~~
Well if one is connected to the tank, and one is connected to the purge valve, then that only leaves one left - the one that vents to atmosphere. Just let it hang.
EDIT: on second thought, it's 2 feet long...? Maybe it does go somewhere. The hose on mine that vents to atmosphere is only about 1 foot long. It's routed to hang down and vent in the crossmember area.

Just ghetto rig it??? what's one more loose wire/ hose, it don't matter, it will just add to the ghetto sleeper effect...will blend in nicely to the bondo patches...lol
