This is a very early heads up. There will be plenty of information to come. Event will be held at Atco Raceway in Atco NJ. Event will held on September 27th, 2008. Drag Racing, Car Show, Vendors Alley and plenty of entertainment.

Mark your calender and get ready for the action.

Spread the word to other honda boards making them aware of this. Please link me via pm to those other areas and i'll be happy to provide details.

is this the OFFICAL HONDA DAY?

of just a honda race event?

 

its an official Honda Day. Since i helped organize the first 2 and some of the people involved in the etown event are involved in this one...its an official Honda Day event. I personally couldn't tell you who is running the etown one this year but its on their schedule.

OK! so etown is just posting that day as honda day antisapating people will just show up thinking its a honda organized event! sweet lol

well just wanted to clarify which is the offical event!

maybe a switch in race track might keep the BAD from showin up!

 

currently 3 classes and 2 bracket classes. drag race, large car show, life style venue, vendors alley(working hard on this).

oh...and the biggest concern from past events is being addressed...SECURITY.

 

ill be there

just a few sugesstions for this coming honda day

1. security to check ALL outgoing cars to make sure ALL ignitions are intact

2. security to go around the parking lots to check on the cars

3. security to kick out the idiots

4. if possible, even check for intact vin plates or papers on swap... if possible

if all of these are worked into the event, im sure a lot more HTers will show up, instead of the typical b20vtec thief...

 

dont forget metal detectors and drug sniffing dogs lol

 

So theres going to be 2 Honda Day Events this year???......1 at E-Town and the other at Atco right???

I cant wait ill be at both. I garentee it. Taking a vacation day the friday before tha events. i went to etown last year and the turnout was great. hondas are the best car ever made. The date for etown this year is August 16.

believe me, the BULK of b20vtec.com "thieves" are from NJ. and lurk all over urbanracer and here, so thats food for thought.

contrary to popular belief, there is still some intelligent and legitimate people on b20vtec. although there are quite a few idiots who do burnouts at meets, and theives who lurk to sell their stolen parts or scout out a victim. but its also on here, so try to keep your foot out of your mouth when stereotyping a site. especially your tri-state counterpart.

 

i've been a member of b20vtec and and here for over 3+ years. yes there are shady people on EVERY car forum, but common sense and just a little general education in things will wisen you up and make sure you have as little chance possible of getting taken for a ride.
