Default What happens to your intake manifold?!

Hey guys, im planing on supercharging my car this summer when money is more aboundant. In the mean time, i was getting ready to purchace K-pro along with the RBC intake manifold. I was wondering if buying the mainifold was a waste of money though. When you supercharge your car, what happens to the intake manifold? Is it part of the charger itself or does it just sit on top of the intake manifold. Thanks for the help guys.

the intake manifold is replaced by the supercharger so i would say spend your money on something that you will be able to use later like do you have a header? if not i would look into buying a header or maybe some motor mounts

It completely replaces the IM:

I'd add a Hondata thermo gasket to the list though.
