Default Falken: Azenis RT-615 vs. Azenis Sport RT-215

okay, vehicle is my 570SX. i don't care about silly things on this car, like noise, tire wear, etc. i just want tires with really stiff sidewalls and maximum grip. car never sees rain.

here's the deal: i found a place that still has a few of the old RT-215's, in sizes that will fit my wheels, but not the sizes i really want. i could still get a 20mm stagger, but the tires would be stretched a bit wide on the wheels. if i stick with my planned RT-615's, the sizes provide ~5% shorter gearing, shorter sidewalls, and the tires are a bit skinnier than the wheels. also, the RT-215's would cost about $100 more than the RT-615's.

so, anybody think the RT-215's are so good i should ignore the fact that the tire sizes kinda suck, and they're quite a bit (~20%) more expensive, and get them anyways?

8. This is honda-tech.com, a place for sharing information about Honda and Acura cars. This isn't the place for information about wheels and tires for your grandmother's Buick or your son's Mustang; there are other websites that specialize in those cars, where people will have more specific expertise with those cars than here.</TD></TR></TABLE>
