I dont' think so. It looks like they were welded and then grinded smooth.

Were is the wastegates going to go?

No, it's not one peace. We made the bent for each runner and than welded them on the both sides, but not directly to the flange. You can see at (the worse)angle closest to alternator runner, it's just polished over the weld

nice setup! The manifold looks simple with the very little bends or apperance of welds. The only thing i would be worried about is the alternator being so close and what kind of temperatures it will be seeing. You wouldn't want the alternator to get heat soaked and cause continous alternator failures. Maybe a heat sheild? heat wrap? manifold being coated?

Thanks, chk the old setup... almost the same distance and alternator not in it's right place. With current setup I'll have more space to put the power steering and bracket for T1 ign system.

Of course it'll be heat wrapped, may be some shield also.

The turbine is higher than the pan, so the oil return no problem...now I'm waiting for all plumbing fittings...

[QUOTE=arc_55]Are there going to be some supports for this thing?[QUOTE] - YES.

Looks like too much work for the outcome... I can forsee alot of crack repair.... Too much runner. I dont THINK that for the bennefits (well at least for bweing different) the trouble is going to be worth it...

But... I dont know ****... Wish you the best though

I've decided to stick with the school of "don't knock it til' you try it", simply because there are some local setups that are really haggard looking, and manage to run 12's and not break.

Not everything was well with the Neukin manifold, also we do know the benefits from our Eclipse with almost the same setup.
As I told, alternator will be in it's right place. With the current setup I'll have more space to put the power steering and bracket for T1 ign system also shortest way to intercooler and.... I'll have big twinscroll Garret ))

Thanks, but it's not the first production of this guy. He has a lot of work behind of his shoulders (Eclipse, 3000GT, BMW, 200sx, 350z...) I have no doubt in his work...
I'm suare that there will be no cracks, coz we have some expiriance in such design The main goal, that I can see each step of producing against the fab shops in USA.

Borya are you seriously putting this thing together in Ukraine? Is there a few aftermarket turbo'ed Hondas, hell anything really? What diameter/wall thickness tubing are you using? Is it stainless, tig welded, purged? Are you going to brace the turbo to the body or the engine? Is your engine/transmision mounts stock? Is there 1/4 mile tracks around Kiev? Is this thing a daily driver or just a weekend toy? Ya v Rosyie nebil uzshe dvenatsat' l'iet. Good luck with it man. Take a few picks of the stuff around the shop; I'd be curious to see what else you all build there. Volgi, Ladi, Moskvichi...
