Default D16Z6 Si tranny in EF

I'm currently using my D15 tranny, but want to install the D16Z6 si tranny for the lower gear ratio and newer gears. I know I will need the new Hasport tranny mount, but what about the axles and shift linkage? Can I use the originals?
Thanks,
Matt

You could also save LOTS of money by just using a 1988-1991 SI transmission.

u can use the stock linkages and also from what i have heard even drive shafts from the 91 but change them if there not in good shape also u will need the rear tranny mount bracket and the innovative hydro conversion kit not the mecanical one the real hydro one its good only thing u got to find out that im still looking on is the side tranny mount on the passenger fender wall i can figure out if i need a 91 stock mount or a 92 mount off a hydro of ur going for a crazy race clutch and press plate go hydro saves u the time of replaceing clutch cables and from snaping or streaching under stress also if u got a weak leg like me u will need the hydro to make ur life easy lol

You'll use your current axles and shift linkage, but you're going to have to install a complete hydraulic clutch system.

As mentioned above, you should really be looking for an '88-91 Si trans with a cable actuated clutch. It bolts right in; no need to change mounts or clutch setup.
