Ron, check this out...........
HART_Tuner:
Even if we wanted to we could not compete in SC Modified class. We prepared our car for that class last winter, however, we could not satisfy the SC Techs with the factory firewall. In our case we needed to move it back approx. 4 inches to be able to fit our engine in (as you know this engine is horizontally opposed from the factory) and the Civic has a very short nose. The SC Techs would not except this modification to run in the Modified class. So you see, even if we wanted to we could not.
Unless they change this ruling for NOPI/NHRA (who knows, right now, there are no rules!) they can't run in Modified. But, check this one out:
HART_Tuner:
We will not be running the HART Civic in the Modified class. We have seen a large decline in attendance at the NHRA Sport Compact Events, and word on the street is the series is short lived. The NHRA Sportsman series has recently created a bunch of classes within the Competition Eliminator Division to suit these kind of cars. It's my understanding that the NHRA would love to see these cars over there. There is so much more competition in the Sportsman Series, so that's where we will stay. The Sportsman Series had been absolutely great to us, and to my suprise, welcomed us with open arms.
Maybe they'll change their minds with the new "organization"??

why the j32 though?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I just couldn't see a k20 in front of a PG. JK. My everyday car has a j32 which at one point was boosted. The motor performed exceptionally so decided to keep the same motor with the car. Only time will tell what problems I'll encounter, but for me, that's therapy, trying to figure it out.

I am trying to get it at least to do a couple passes by August. There are alot more pictures here http://s246.photobucket.com/al...0name/
Without getting to much into it.
Sakura EC10 Engine Management.
PCS D200
DVS : IPS : ERL Performance K-Series Engine
Tito Chassis setup
Gato Racing Intake manifold and turbo manifold
Stringe Suspension
list goes on. Car should be here complete sometime in the next 2 months. Then we gotta stat putting it together.
We are very flattered to be put in the list with some of those cars. I know we have our work cut out for us.
You will see more of the Nissan S13 KA-T for most of the east coast events until the duo is at all the events. Were hoping to break out 7.93 record and run 7.20's this season in that one.

Wow! That just looks plan scary fast... Very Nice!
I'm just starting to wonder about the very short wheel base on these chassis, I just picked up a 99 Hatch DX with a very good start on a very nice custom cage already but after seeing what you guys are doing with those monstrosity tires I think I better replan the layout I had in mind.
What motor and tranny combos are you guys running or going to run?
I have 5 K-series motors sitting around here, so I am thinking about one of the K24's with the Type S head and possibly a turbo 350 tranny. (I have 2 powerglides too but don't want to have to go crazy on the converter since the car will still be driven to and from the track at the least) My goal is around 700-800whp with K-Pro
