Just picked here up, what do you guys think?

Specs:
CRX shell no motor or interior
New paint
Wire Tuck
Battery relocated under fender with terminals on firewall
black dash not sure what kind of center console
S2K Cluster

Trying to get this project done and I'm looking for a few parts, if anyone has any of these parts pm me.

Looking for a b16 swap hydro or cable
Traction bar
Bumper and corner lights for a 91 front end
Need seat rails to fit usdm type r seats into a crx
sunroof
Shift linkage and shifter

Prime candidate for a K swap......at least thats what I would do.

Haven't been out much have you? LOL....

 

So its an '89 with a '90-91 front bumper, and a 90-91 guage cluster cowl, and a civic center console. If I remember right, the 90-91 guage cowl doesn't fit an 88-89 dash, or maybe its just a matter of the correct steering column cover... Anyways, sharp looking car. Nice clean canvas for starting out

 

that engine bay looks so clean, I can put a chair and tv in there and have dinner! Good stuff man

 

thanks for the comments, going to go with just a b16 swap right now i'm in the process of rebuilding my type R and cant spend to much money on this car.

trying to put my usdm type r seats into this crx, does anyone know if there are any oem or after market rails that would let me bolt these seats in to my crx?

Find an acutal crx center console. The civic console doesn't fit right at all.

If I were you I'd pick up a 90-91 style rear bumper to match the front, and have it painted OEM style with the satin black bottom.

Otherwise supper CLEAN.

 

Usually people take the stock seat pan and rails from the original seats and swap everything over to the new seats. I know that is what people do with other chassis, but not sure if it works with the CRX.

Small update. I got a few parts black crx carpet, momo wheel and hub, knock off rims, and pics of my Type R seats.

looks good , you should change out those hardlines so they are black again. Befor it gets too deep in the project. It is real easy to do as it sits.
