Wow I'm sorry to see/hear this It was a nice car. I'm starting to worry about driving my SI after all these accidents I see.. it's like every other day someone is coming on here and their beloved car is gone.

As long as your alright, I guess that's all you can ask. Any chance of getting a new one? Upgrading to a newer trim?

Thanks everyone, I'm okay, no injuries to speak of other than a scratch on my leg (my GF calls it a gash...) and no one else was involved at all... completely isolated incident..

Tow hook could have actually been functional I guess, but the car was FACING traffic, and the tow hook was in the water.. he had to pull that bish from the front.... sucks too, wanted to see if that tow hook would have actually worked too! LOL

as a matter of fact, that tire was low on air the other week, so I added more air, and everything was fine again, just a random act of God

as for another car, I'm completely expletiveed... most likely it will be deemed "totaled". So as far as getting an Si goes, MAYBE... but I highly doubt it at this point, the "new" car situation is completely up in the air at the moment, more details to come...

I was doing anywhere form 70-80... which is unusual because as of late, driving either TO or FROM work, I've been following truckers... to help save gas, I figured one trip home going with the flow of traffie shouldn't kill my gas... then the tire blew faster than anyone could have reacted...

nah, it was in I-5, going southbound, right after the walnut grove exit...

Guys, as for parts, I already tried to tell the body shop guy that I wanna grap my retrofit really quick and he was hella like "no, insurance blahblahblabh" (in my head i'm thinking, why don't we just say the headlights didn't even come IN with the g0t damn car, wtf...) same story with the tow hook, although that I'm going to try and snag cuz I still have my golf clubs in the car which im' allowed to go back and get...

after having woken up fully now... my neck is killin me...

bout the ONLY thing I have for sale now is my stoptech slotted rotors.. axxis ultimate brake pads, stoptech stainless steel brakelines, super blue dot 4 fluid.. was HELLA gonna put it on this week too... now i have to expletiveing sell this ****..
