Do you have A/C on your R?
I have it and will keep it in even if the car becomes a track car later.

you don't need it in Canada
If you keep your ITR in the city limits, then I say no A/C is required in Canada. A/C is definitely required for highway trips in the summer.

If I didn't have my A/C I would look like one of those skinny Third World country kids after I sweated through a Texas summer.

I'm pretty sure you can get a replacement belt from Pep boys. Just bring in your old belt and they will find you a similar sized one.

I went to Toronto last summer for a week thinking I would escape the East Coast heat and humidity; I was WRONG!! It was fockin hot and humid as **** up there.. If your R is not a daily driver and is a designated track ***** I say yank the AC. If not, sweating your ***** off just isn't worth it IMO..
I have mixed feelings about a/c in an ITR. My '98 didnt have it, and I remember how pissed my girfriend at the time was when I picked her up in my brand new Acura with no a/c in the dead of August..he he. But since my '00 came with it I'll leave it in there. I realize I can pick up 2-3 whp by removing it, but since I barely drive it as it is I'll keep it in. Plus taking out the R on really hot days like today (100 in NYC today) makes it a lot nicer with a/c. If I had a 2nd ITR it would definetely have no a/c.
I'm seriously considering yanking mine to make room for the turbo and closed loop downpipe.
We'll have to see where Dave can squeeze the extra piping in for the close loop portion, if I don't pull the AC.
