Default body kit question....

ok I know I'm gonna get crap for this question, but my lil bro just bought a 95 EX coupe, and he wants to put the body kit on it from the fast and the furious movie, off of the black civics they drive during the highjacking and the such. I am not too much of a fan of that movie, so I have no clue, can anyone help me figure that out?

You do realize if you get the body kit....you'll need a stand alone fuel management system...which usually costs around 10,000 bucks

Body Kits suck. You spend mad money and its usually fiberglass and then you hit a bumpt and boom, it's shattered. If youe ver get one, invest in a urethane kit so it will bend with your car, not crack

Nevermind. Just stick with the looks department.

lol..sorry man. You're not gonna make any NA power from a D series. Leave the cat on. I live in illinois. My air is more important than your 0.5hp gain.

well don't clown on him too much. he knows he might get flamed by us a lot. he said it at the beginning. its okay. thanks to 01_CLtypeS for helping him.

we need to learn that everyone has different taste. if they want it, their choice. hell, i might get bitch at for saying this too. haha. what has the world come to.

anyways. to whom ever made this thread. 01_CLtypeS seems like he has told you what the kit is in the movie so good luck with the project. have fun and stay safe.

True, a intake and exhaust wont do too much. But if your a baller, lose the rims and you'll feel a difference and your speedo will also be correct again. Those dubs wont be throwing the speedo off 30+ mph anymore

hey on my D series I noticed a power gain when I did the basic bolt-ons, but thats probably because it had 242xxx miles on it when I did those upgrades. I just cant believe he wants to do body parts first when his stepdad builds race cars.....
like this one...

and of course one of the turbos for it

for those of us who had ef and egs in the late 90's, we were all about black widow body's kits and b16's and so forth. so i say let him go for it.

I dont go for body kits, I have a four door DX. the body kits I've seen for that are not what I'd like. I prefer to have a faster civic than a prettier one. seeing as those are my options right now. I'd rather dump my money into the motor I've got or a B series motor.. not a front bumper and side skirts and the such.

A BODY KIT IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO PUT ON A CIVIC...IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER TO MAKE IT LOOK CLEAN RATHER THAN LOOK LIKE A SPACE ROCKET... TELL HIM TO JUST GET A LIP KIT ALL THE WAY AROUND... MY HOMEBOY HAD THE SAME CAR AN JUST PUT A LIP IN THE FRONT AN SLAMMED IT TO THE GROUND...ADDEDD I CARBON HOOD AN SOME INTEGRA LS TAN LEATHER... WITH SOME HX BLACK WHEEL... IT WAS A TIGHT CAR...
