Search for oil pump shim if your looking for more pressure. There are a few threads on here about doing it. Your H22 VTEC pump would already have high oil pressure. Why do you need it higher. Or are you looking for a higher flow rate?

I need more flow while keeping the pressure high. The motor is at 240whp all motor and were looking for more power. One of the things we need to solve is more oil flow.I have some big cams and I dont want to run into oil starvation when we run for the 300whp.

I am also in the process of trying to get some info on the high flow topic as well. So far it seems as though places charge $200+ a core pump (or pay for a new one) Just for them to port and polish the oil galleys and shim the oil relief spring on an OEM pump. That's a lot of money for a .10¢ washer and an hour or two with a dremel.

Where you able to find anything on the shim. I found some info on it. It is a washer/shim that you put between the oil pressure relief spring and the plug that holds it into the pump. Not sure what size exactly but if you have the pump off the engine it shouldn't be hard to remove the bolt and measure the diameter of the Relief valve & spring. It is the hex bolt on the bottom right side of the pump. The washer is placed between the plug & spring adding 1mm to the bolt hight.

I also read a few threads that said not to do this mod as it's not necessary to do...but no real technical reasons why not to do it. I am going to be running a remote oil filter. I feel that upping my flow and pressure to compensate for that is necessary. If anyone knows any technical reasons why this mod should not be done please post.
