Have you looked under your hood to see if there's any damage or busted fuses? Maybe I should use my mental abilities to diagnose exactly what happened without having to leave my home. Hold on...

Did it work? No? Okay, then go out and take some pictures of the underside and engine bay of your car and get back to us.

Where did this chain make contact with the car?

Probably just knocked a wire loose.

Check your fuses (both boxes) and tell us where the chain made contact with the car.

You can't find a place underneath where the chain made contact?

Hopefully something was just knocked loose from the impact and not actually destroyed.

And from hitting something under the car, there's not many electrical things that could have been hit, yanno? My guess is that you hit it so hard you literally knocked a fuse loose. I'm not sure why the gas guage still works and nothing else, but since the turn signals are out too....Just do a quick check in the fuse boxes for the appropriate fuses and hope for the best. Check the underhood fuse box as well, and see if any wires are literally ripped and hanging anywhere. Good luck brotha!

preciate it my brotha, an yezzir u called this one... fuggin 10amp fuse in kickpanel fusebox was shot, threw in one for my domelight into that spot an BLAM everything worked.. haha crazy **** if u ask me, but than again hittin that chain felt almost like the equivelent of hitting hillary clinton with my car haha, rough impact status haha.. it was one of the chains from the hanging door on a dumptruck that hold the door in place with the big pin an ****... to that and to you...
