Someone with a GTECH meter..how do i use this damn thing!?!?

someone help me out..my dad gave me this thing but i can't figure out how to use it..can someone post up how to get it to record HP and 1/4 times? thanks

Step one, hold firmly in right hand
Step two, throw as hard as possible
Step three, goto a track and get REAL numbers.

yeah yeah yeah ...i agree mista bone..but the nearest quarter mile track is about 2 hours away and i don't have the cash to drop for a few dyno pulls. this piece o crap was given to me, so i figured i'd play around with it a little bit..i know you have to enter in the weight of your car somehow but i can't figure it out..the gtech website has NO help and doesn't even list an email address to write to. can anyone help?
