Default Front Diver Side Brake Leaking!

It's only on the one side, since my wheels were covered in it in random spots. I don't even know where to begin!

This is where I would begin:
Take the wheel off and inspect the brakline, especially the rubber flex line.
Can't find it? Put on some saftey glasses and have someone press the brake pedal.

Buy a can of brake cleaner and spray the side that has the leak all over.
Dry everything off and turn the car on and have someone push the brake pedal. While someone is doing that you can watch the brake caliper to see where the leak is coming from.

I bet its you cv joint grease getting all over the place.
Check your CV boots.

If the caliper were leaking you would notice you brake fluid lvl droping over time.
And a seriouls leak, enough to cover the wheels means that the main seal has gone out(at which point your brakeing for that caliper becomes reduced and the car may want to torque to one side under heavy braking) and you will either need to rebuild the caliper(not hard) or buy a new one( $$$).

it sounds like it could be my caliper since this is the 2nd time in the few months i've owned the car that the brake light has come on for that reason.

i'll get checking on that when my new sockets come
