Alrighty, so I am a bit stumped but I think I might have come to some conclusions...

So I try to start my winter beater and it won't even turn over. I took the starter to the local auto parts store and we tested it out only to find that it works just fine. I checked for any blown fuses with no luck. Checked all the connections on the starter (all 2 of them) good. so then I thought that it might be the main relay since I have heard that they go out on ef's all the time but I can still hear it click when I turn the ignition on???
My last thought is that it might be the (shift lock?) for the auto tranny. I can hear a click kind of behind the center console when I try to turn it over and the "brake" light flashes on the dash cluster, it's almost like it's not sensing that it's in PARK so it won't turn over. Am I off base, or could I be right on??? Has anyone had this problem??? If so how the heck can I fix it. Again I am not positive that main relay is good still but it sounds like it pulls the contacts in upon turning the key. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Check your trans ground and move the shifter to nuetral and try starting.

I'll try it tonight. But i think I already tried shifting into neutral. I'll try again.

Battery is good as new. Took out of my other DD accord.
