h22 swap distributor question
I have a 97 accord with a 93 jdm h22, my distributor went bad, the one that came on the engine has an internal coil.... I've researched majestic honda, distributor king and few other places. all I can find is one with a external coil. I don't really want to change my harness to run a external coil any advise or do I have no choice.
Search for "jdm prelude distributor" on Ebay gives:

Distributor King FTW.

He used his accord harness, which is set up to use internal coil. You can't even use a jdm harness w/o doing some serious wire extending anyways.
No need to be a smart ***.
If you just need coils, you can get the part for 92-97 civics I know for sure. I recommend replacing the whole thing if at all possible, though.

I have a jdm internal coil dizzy for an H22 lying around if it will work for you. I took it off my swap to run the external coil dizzy off my H23. I'll let it go cheap if you can use it. PM me for details.
