Default DPFI to MPFI question

I bought a complete d16a6 for my dual point crx. I've swapped it in and wired up the injectors but I found out the dizzy on the A6 is not the si dizzy, nor do I have the si dizzy plugs I need for the harness. Is there neway to get the d15 dizzy to work?

You should of just bought the whole wiring harness rather then rewire the ecu for injectors. Its alot easier.

you do need an si dizzy as it has the cylinder position sensor which the d15 dpfi dizzy does not have. you should have run 2 wires into the engine bay from the harness for the CPS.

what i did was depin the connector on the si dizzy (7 wires), then depin the connector on the d15 dizzy(5 wires). then put the so wires back from the si dizzy into the d15 dizzy connector in the same order as they were from the d15 dizzy, leaving the 2 CPS wires left over from the si connector which i soldered directly to the CPS wires I ran from the ecu harness.

if you do that, the si dizzy will connect to the d15 connector like stock, and you can just loom the extra two wires to keep it clean.
