Ok there are a few things to consider when choosing slicks for your setup.
1. when choosing a slick, your looking at the HP level you are in and matching that with a certain SLICK size.
2. you shouldnt really base your tire size choice on how much you can clear under your fender. Meaning, if your car makes a good amt of power, IT will need a taller tire and you cant run a smaller tire and expect it to work well. Its like having a 450hp car, and you want to run a 22x8 slick when you should be on a 24.5 tall slick. Results wont be the same and can actually affect performance of the slick. Consider raising the car a bit IF the slick wont fit. Its always better to adjust the ride height, NEVER the slick size.
3. The smallest size slick is a 20x8x14, 22x8x15 and a 22x8x13. IF you are concerned that it wont fit bigger than a 195/50, that means the car is pretty low. If you run a 20x8x14, I know that it will clear the fender, BUT it will drop the car lower to the ground since its such a small slick and can cause ground clearance on your header if you use this tire.
4. If you're making about 200hp, the perfect size slick for you would be a 22x8x13 or a 22x8x15.
