HF vs DX axles and HF vs DX knuckles (and Teg knuckles)
So... I'm trying to buy a complete brake swap off a 90-93 Integra. I found a car with all the parts but I need to know just how much of it I need. I'm getting the rear trailing arms with the brake components, so I'm good in the rear. I'm also getting the BB/MC/Prop. Valve and hoping that will all bolt right up....
Up front though... I've heard that the 9.5" rotors and calipers will not bolt up to my HF knuckles. I've also heard that they will. What I haven't heard is anyone who had actually bolted 9.5" rotors and calipers onto their HF knuckles. Has anyone?
Will the Integra knuckle interchange with my HF knuckles? If they do, I'll need to change out the axles as well. If I get the axles from the Integra, will they work with my HF trans, and will they be the right length for a CRX?
A lot of questions, I know. Please bear with me.

Hey i have an HF also... In a nut shell those HF spindles are usless. You need to ditch them if you want to do anything!!!! rotors are like 8.5"
No the 9.5" rotor won't bolt up to the HF spindles!
You can use the integra knuckle or the crx dx or si knuckles....if you change the knuckles you must change the axle. The HF spindle is smaller than any other application. So your number of splines on the outer cv shaft are less than the number on the other models. If you can swap outer cv joints do that, if not just get a different axle from an si or dx. All the d series inner cv splines are the same.
Don't use the integra axle cause its different. They use a b series tranny!!
Use a crx si or dx axle.

Awesome, thank you! I'm getting the Teg knuckles and axles tossed in with the rest of the parts anyhow. I suppose I could use the outer Teg axles on my inner HF axles and CVs?
I've never dealt with CV axles before. How difficult would it be to put the Teg outer/stub axle on the HF inner axle and CV joint? The HF axles/joints are new and the Teg joints are clicking according to the guy selling me the parts.

just get new axles, youd be better off. and be sure to get an alignment. i just did my da front brake swap and i drove for one day and it wore the tires all the way down.
I wonder if the hf hubs have the same OD as the integra hubs? if so you can press the hubs out of the hf spindle and press them into the integra spindle. has anyone ever compared the OD of the hubs?

If the teg joints are clicking the cv is no good. Just save yourself a headache and get new axles....like 80 bucks each

The HF axles are new, that was why I was hoping I could just put the outer end on the HF inners + CVs.
There is a set of axles on EBAY for $99/pair that are rated to 200HP. Considering that I'll likely never have even half of that in this car, it seems like a good option to consider.

Just make sure your outers are good
