Whats wrong with my trans?
Just to remind you its an automatic 97 civic HX, Hx meaning it has a CVT transmission....you don't hear the car shift. First gear could be messed up. leaving a stop, the car will vibrate and buck forward, much like driving a manual transmission and pushing in the clutch and gas unevenly, eventually causing you to stall out. My car does this....yet its an automatic and never stalls out. Could my transmission be going?
If anyone had a similar problem let me know. Also I bought a new trans from the same year civic but not a CVT and was wondering if it would work.

You sure about that?
I recall not too long ago on here somebody trying to swap a CVT (junkyard trans) into a non-CVT HX (trans replacement) and the **** hit the fan BIG TIME with motor mounts 'n ****.
