Default 97-01 Honda prelude sh or base engine differences?

Alright, I know that 97-98 have 190 and 99-01 have 200hp plus the fact that 00-01 have the hepa filtration system.
However, are the engines the same externally meaning bolt up?
I am curious if I buy a sh engine, can I put it on my base?
I know the trans is different with the bigger atts system but is the engine essentially the same?

You can use the SH engine with your Base trans, but you'll need to get the adapter plate from piratemcfred to make it work.
