My name is Alyn. I'm 25. Been modifying cars for about 9 years. My car list has included....
90 Corsica
95 Thunderbird SC 5spd
90 Cougar XR7 SC
88 Civic DX Hatch
94 Thunderbird SC
93 Civic DX Hatch
95 Neon
94 Civic EX 2DR
I currently still own the EG hatch, the 95 SC, 95 Neon, and the 94 EG 2dr (newest).
All but the corsica were modified mechanically. The 95 Supercoupe is a rare one, and my pride and joy. Roughly $25k invested so far, not to mention that its one of 574 5spd's build during its final year.
The Cougar was parted out then junked. The Neon had an engine fire.
The 88 EF hatch was my first project w/ honda's. Swapped from DPFI to MPFI. Motor swap, all the basic bolt ons. A fun car. Sold it.
The 94 SC had an exhasut, intake, throttle, pulleys, shift kit. Very enjoyable. Taken out by a semi. Sideswiped.
My 93 EG Hatch. Taken out by a 99 blazer. Tboned. Ugh. Somehow I lived. Swapped from auto to manual, A6/ZC sohc, fully built head,
nippon stage 2 cam, oversized valves, bigger springs/retainers,
intake ported 1mm over gasket and ex gasket matched, MSD SCI,coil, cap/rotor,
Wires, iridium plugs. Custom ZR header (modified the 1 7/8 collector/pipe to
2.5in. Full 2.5 exhaust w/high flow cat and magnaflow resonator. Tokico 5 way
adjustable suspension. Wicked tuning LCA's. Jackson racing supercharger,
Fully ported on intake and exit, 3.25 pulley. Boosted 12psi.
And my 2 door will get all the stuff from above in hopes to have a fun civic again.
And some photos of the old civic. So sad.








And yeah, red suede headliner. sidepanels, and carbon fiber vinyled door panels.
Converted to power windows/lock/mirrors. Was working on dying all the panels
black and getting the Teg leather seats.

welcome to h-t. i like those thunderbird sc, a guy up the street has one and runs low 11's. not to be an ***, but how exactly do you modify a corsica? i mean, i've ridden snow mobiles faster than those things.

And after all that / point of all that? Idunno, seen a few posts in the first few minutes I was on here of people introducing themselves. Figured maybe it was the thing to do. Beats having everyone wonder who the hell ya are and wondering just how creditable you are when you're a newbie postin answers on other people threads. I figured after having enough other people telling me to join, I'd give it a shot. Have a lotta friends in the honda world and somehow I'm the only one not on here, well, until now.
The Neon I bought after the engine fire, replaced what I had to in the engine bay, complete harness, intake mani, etc. Nasty mess compliments of a battery exploding.
And the 2 accidents, bumped into someone in my blindspot with the cougar, and a semi trailer peeled back my roof/window line for me in the 94 SC. You can lower the BS flag now.
jhammond_82, was the guy you're reffering to have a red sc, name is Gary by any chance? And for the Corsica, I've been in the car audio feild damn near my whole job span. It was loaded with all Kenwood eXcelon gear from around the 2000 era. Used to compete db drag, that kinda thing.
leroyb, I have no doubt you beat an SC before, the older ones/unmodified ones are nothing special. I threw down a 15.2 in mine in stock trim on a 90 deg. day. Definately was faster at night, and even better in the fog (denser air + supercharger = more power). Mine right now should be putting 325/350hp to the wheels backed by around 425/450 ft.lbs. hoping for low 12's on a good tire. I'll know more come summer when it hits the dyno, its a summer only car.

Yo man, don't hate on the snowmobiles. You have obviously never raced one on wheels. I used to have a 13 second gts celica, took it to the race track and got my *** handed to me by a snowmobile, no joke, that damn thing ran a quarter mile in like 11 seconds. it was some bullshit.
