Will 17 inch rims fit my Del Sol?
Hello all I have a 1995 Del Sol, and my original tire size is : P185/60R14 85S and I found a set of Racing Hart rims that someone is selling size 205/40ZR17 84W with YOKOHAMA Parada Spec-2 tires.
Will these wheels fit my car without any problems?
Also I heard that I should just make sure that the offset is correct for my car? which is the offset and what offset should I get for my car?
-Thanks

They'll fit without any problems. I have 17s on my 92 hatch which uses the same backspacing and bolt pattern as a sol. Most people here prefer the "jdm" look and dont go over a 16. Speaking from experience, I wish I would have never got my 17s, they are too heavy and killed my acceleration. I'm looking to get some 15s or 16s after my motor is built and in.

Yes, they are. A little over 3% bigger which does start to affect things....such as acceleration.
Can you fit 17"s on a del sol? Of course you can cram them in there. Can you make them fit properly....not really.
Again, you are just asking for trouble putting such a bit wheel on such a small car. As for looks, well to each his own but I think it just looks silly.

Ive read through some other forums that 17's fit just fine with other del Sols. But yeah I must say that im a little bit concerned that they may be too big. I believe the recommended size is 16's. I have here some pictures of the wheels i was considering buying, do you guys know if these are heavier than the stock ones. Because if they are lighter or the same then the 17's shouldnt be too much of a problem.
