what is the difference between the JDM 98 and 96 itr motors? Ive noticed that the 98's are more expensive, is it worth the extra $?

The 98+ engines have higher compression and the final drive of the transmision is 4.785 as opposed to 4.400.

In JDM Type R engines, they have the same compression, the only difference is that the 98 spec engine has a slightly (very slightly) more aggressive intake camshaft and makes a small amount more torque, that is all.

The torq also comes in at a lowe RPM, but the biggest noticable difference is the 4.4 and 4.7 FD
