Wtf? Tranny swap question
Ok I posted a topic about this about a week ago but I just realized something...
when doing an auto to manual swap...dont you need a Clutch Slave and hardline?
I mean I guess you dont since if you look in the faqs at that AOL homepage where it talks about changing to manual...it dosnt mention a clutch slave...so is it nessasary or what?

Are you using a hydro trans? If not, then no.
If you are you should have a cable-to-hydro kit that includes everything you'll need. (I assume this is a cable car?)
Also, you failed to mention which engine, car and transmission.

Yeah, when swapping a transmission into a chassis that is designed for a cable clutch, you need a bunch of hydraulic transmission parts
But seriously, If you're swapping a hydro trans in your EF, it's much easier just to buy a cable to hydro bracket. If you're swapping to a cable trans, all you need is a manual pedal cluster and a clutch cable.

So... I guess you learned that what works for one car probably doesn't for another, then?
Next time, try to get instruction for YOUR car.
