If you're going to stay obd0 then all the wiring will be the same as if it was a D16A6. make sure you get the correct intake manifold.

NO first you convert your car to mpfi, then convert it to obd1...
so what i sent you is what you have to do first. UNLESS you are already mpfi(4 point fuel injetors)

if your going obd1 just change your dizzy to a obd1 dizzy your o2 sensor 4 wire, your ecu, and jumper. if your v-tec you have to run a few wires.

obd1 pins for v-tec.
A-4 ==v-tec solenoid
D-6== oil pressor sensor/switch.

obd0 pins for v-tec.
A-8== v-tec solenoid
b-5== oil pressor sensor/switch,

you dont have to change all your clips on the car to obd1 like some people thing just what i listed above is that you have to change.

good luck.

I did mine the easy way. Sent the old engine harness (dpfi) and d16Z6 engine harness (mpfi) to Rywire and they sent back a modded harness. Everything works great, you do need a P28 ECU though.

Re-pin a TD42U distributor? Are you talking about re-pinning to run OBD-0 (Won't work) or re-pinning to mate to your stock harness? If it's the second, I don't think that will work on the distributor side as easily as it would be to set the harness to natively support an OBD-0 connection (which I have done).

the d16z6 should already have mpfi unless the previous owner was too lazy to do the wiring and threw the old dpfi manifold on it also the wiring will be the same as for an a6 Except you will need to add an extra wire for vtec. see above for obd1 conversion
