ok i bought this 89 crx hf shell for 300 it was perfect no rust good paint but there is a problem i dont know why but the guy that had the car did a b16 swap and he start cutting wires inside like crazy doinng crazy stuff with the wiring and then when i did the swap i was having to many problems like fuel problems headlights didnt go on so you know i prefer to get a commplete interior harness so i know i wont have any problems. the thing is that in junkyards out here in florida i super hard to find a crx and the worst thing is to find an hf model so i wanna know if i can use other crx model interior harness like an si model or dx model so if you guys can let me know if i can put a dx or si harness in the hf and it will work fine??????
You might also be able to use a Civic harness, as they should be the same from the firewall forwards. You'll need to make sure the harness comes from a car with PG-MPFI (some (all?) of the DXs don't).
Otherwise, you might want to consider an aftermarket wiring harness, such as EZ-Wiring. They have a distributor here in FL so your kit should arrive the day after you order it (at least mine did
). This will cover everything except your ECM....

I bought their wiring harness and a set of "Dolphin" gauges (the white-faced, classic looking ones) for my '85 Jeep J10. Everything was good quality.
