Default Shed some light on rex dash? 90-91 bezel on 88-89 dash?

In my 91 hatchback, std, 5spd, I put the black 88-89 CRx dash. I reused my 91 cluster, but...before doing my research, tried putting on a 91 cluster and...what do you know. As everyone states, it won't fit.

So my question is this...I don't wanna do another dash swap to a 90-91, and i dont' wanna re-wire for an 88-89 cluster...

Is there a way to make the 91 cluster/bezel fit on the 88-89 dash? I've thought about changing the cluster mounting brackets...but i wanted to see if anyone else had tried it first.

Thanks!

Pretty sure that is the key to making it work.

Well, that's a start for a bump of information...

But I think I'm selling off both projects, as of now. I leave to the marines too soon to have enough time to finish out what I'd wanted to have done...

I'll post up a far sale thread whenever I have the pictures and know how much I want for all the pieces. Basically, I leave for the Marines mid-march. Two weeks between now and then will be traveling around the US visiting people in different cities. I'd like to see around 3K$ for everything simply because I've got about that much in bills and student loans and crap to pay for. I'd like to have it all paid off so my credit score is as high as it can possibly be when I come back home to buy a truck.

Some highlights I'll be selling, though, are...

A 91 DX (shell, or built, depending) painted whatever color you want. I was restoring it and was just about ready to paint before I realized I don't have enough time left. All the dents and stuff are out...just needed paint and reassembly.

A 91 STD (shell, or built, depending) that's primered. Many dents and dings, but still looks ok. She was gonna be my track queen.

LS Short block
OBD1 Complete LS swap
CRx SiR seats w/ no rips
extra OBD1 PR4 ECU
cooling fans
Skunk2 race coils
KYB AGX struts
Urethane bushings
Brand new high quality graphite carpet (w/ jute padding)
Rear disc conversion, or full integra disc conversion
konig heliums, 15 with PR4's
Tinted glass, or clear
extra B-series axles
Black hatchback dash
black CRx dash
full black interior for hatch
extra doors for hatch

Any of the above parts (plus other parts) may or may not be installed in either car. Just depends on how the "shell" buyer wants the car prepared/built or whatever. Then everything else will be parted off.

If you're interested in anything, lemmee know through PMs and we may work something. But my intent is NOT to let this thread become a for sale thread.
