Hello this is my first post to this forum, so sorry in advance im sure this question has already been asked a million times.
Any ways my girlfriend had a '95 del sol si, that she recently totaled. And now her next car is a '91 crx dx automatic. Im going to put the d16z6 out of the del sol into the crx. But i want to use the hydro tranny out of the del sol.
So my question is can i retro fit the pedal assembly out of the del sol to work in the crx, what do i do about shift linkage, can i use or modify the del sol linkage to work, and will the tranny bolt into the crx using the auto tranny mounts or do i need different ones? I know that the easiest route to go would be to get a manual pedal assembly for a crx and use a cable to hydro canversion bracket. But since we only had liability on the del sol and the guy who hit her ran I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible.
Also my friend has a totaled civic wagovan that was a manual tranny if the pedal assembly and tranny out of this car will work better than the del sol stuff, I can probably get that stuff for pretty cheap.
