Pulling the motor is not necessary.. unless ur doing something else besides the auto to 5 speed

obliviously!! yes we are doing other stuff. replacing the mounts, cleaning up the whole bay, mild wire tuck, removing/looping the P/S, removing A/C and CC. mainly to clean/degrease the bay.

yeah I payed alot to have mine done, but in the end it was worth every penny!

we figured that was coming...we actually took it to a quick lube place here in town....we asked them to empty it and they said they did....it was only a little bit....I guess they didnt do a good job....Last time we will go to them!!

We usually go to another place that handles only freon stuff....we have them vac it usually....

 

Because he wants a 5 speed , and maybe it was the only tegg he could find....

Yea because acura integras are so incredibly rare and exotic you cant find more then one in alabama

Its his car If he really loves his car, and he wants a 5 speed swap, then let there be 5 speed.

 

I agree with you guys on maybe sourcing another car but at least he is making an informative thread which is more than I can say about alot of thr threads around here lately

A bunch of wasted money, if the guy that owned this car bought a 5 speed integra to begin with and didnt waste money on garbage modifications he could have a semi respectable integra by now. Instead its still slow even after thousands invested, only in appearence cosmetic would people praise some **** like this.

Not knocking the OP or the work being done though, just how incredibly retarded some so called "enthuisiasts" can be for wanting a job like this done.

This is a customers car and we are just doing the labor and doing a write up. The owner of the car likes it and thats whats counts, right? If you dont like it please dont post here anymore.

updates soon..

 

Started cleaning the greasy motor and bay and looped the P/S. Thats pretty much all we did today.

 

Its only an auto to manual swap.
