Default GT4508R-C? Looks interesting!

http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=GRT

Fits in the place of a GT42 and can support almost 1200hp. Im sure thats not true with the GT42R/RS compressor housing but it looks like the S372 BW turbo has some competition.

The reason the BW S372 is winning out over the Garrett GT42r is due to two reasons:
1. The S372 is cheaper
2. The S372 makes more power while still being SFWD legal

BW makes turbos that will support just as much power as this GT4508r-c, but neither the Garrett or BW in that power range will meet the requirements of the SFWD class...

There really isn't a BW Bandwagon...the facts have finally surfaced about them and the Garrett bandwagon has slowed substantially. Think about it...more power and less money. I think that's a no-brainer

I have a new S256 and i've owned Garretts in the past....the quality of the Borg Warner (Bullseye Power) turbos is the same if not better. You can tell the turbo is built a little heartier than most Garretts...at least the ones i've owned.

Schwitzer does make OEM turbos, so I'm gonna go ahead and say yes. The S-series turbos use expletiveing BEEFY bearing structures and huge, seemingly unbendable shafts.

For those of you who aren't l337, Schwitzer = BW's S series turbos

I guess. But you have to wonder, if the product is better, then how can it be so much cheaper cost wise? And I didn't say anything about the Garret wagon. Its a known fact that the BW turbo's out perform the garretts, but you all compare different sized inducers and exducers.

Because Garrett's prices are inflated and BW's prices are an accurate market reflection. It's only a few hundred dollars difference when you compare journal bearing to journal bearing.

Like I said before, I'm not a Garrett supporter, just stating things I've seen. I personally like Precision.

In the start of things PTE was using mostly Garrett parts but now PTE stands on their own and makes and designs most of their own turbo parts. PTE makes good turbos there is no doubt about that. Without Harry our turbo industry would be much different today.

I doubt you will ever here another turbo company say that about a competitor.

You don't need a 5" DP, I doubt you would really even see any gains.

The T51RSPL will make 1200 WHP for sure? What random body orifice did you pull that out of? The T51RSPL is a GT4276 with different housings and $2000 tacked onto the price tag, and most definitely will not support 1200 WHP

My friends over at AAP went through several of those in 06 before switching to the Bullseye S480 80mm. The Supras made more power and didn't go through any this year. I think they are on all 3 cars. 2 won championships and the other finished 2 nd and 2 of them raced in the same class.

think again buddy, you sure your not thinking of the normal T51KAI? the SPL is different and most certainly does put out 1200whp. im at work right now so i cant talk to much trash to you and post up specs but when i get home i'll post up more info and some witty/rude comments
