Default DA center console pieces into EF?

I'm having some trouble getting this to fit in my civic... it doesnt fit flush with the stock center console pieces, which was expected, however with it mocked up the way we have it now, i dont have enough room to shift, or drop my e brake all the way.

Just wondering if anyone had done this before and could give me some tips...

Also, what is the best way to fill in the open spaces between the two? Cut a piece of plastic the same shape and glue it in, smooth and paint it?

I've never seen that swap done before. Usually when people mention a DA console swap they talk about the 90-93 models.

are you putting this into the civic hatch????

my brother has a hatch and the console came from a 94-00 integra and it sits perfectly flush...maybe you should try that...

This is usually done with DC consoles not DA on a hatch

it should of just dropped in with a few screws, or at least thats how it went with mine, and it fits perfectly, the center console and the DA lip are two things that just drop in and screw on, the Da lip holes are in the same spot as a Ef si bumper, and the center console fits right in...
