I have a 2000 dx hatch, that came without an armrest:

I just bought a new center with an armrest that the seller said was from a 2000 SiR (canadian EM1). I gave him $40 CDN cash for the piece. Here it is next to my oem piece:

The issue is how it mounts in the back. The front of it clips and screws directly to my factory console, but the back has screw holes with nothing to actually screw it into. The original piece hooked onto the car without screws, but this armrest piece doesn't appear to have it.
I know I am missing some kind of bracket that goes into the bottom of the armrest...does anyone have a diagram of this assembly so I know what it looks like? Or does anyone know a better way to secure the back?
Thanks

I already tried to install it without the back mounted. It did not hold it well enough. When my arm rested on it, it would push the top of the armrest towards the passenger seat.

Okay, so I found this on the internet:

So, do I need #24 (BRACKET, RR. CONSOLE)?

the top of the armrest has a little plastic underneat to hold it in place with the console, it probably gone. Junk yard it.
