If I have an ek hatch with type-r swap with the OBD2a connector cuz hondata sells a p28 already programmed with it. I dont need a harness or anything like that right I just need to take out the old ecu and put in the one I got.

yep it should just plug right in

 

P28 is a obd1 ecu, so you will need the conversion harness. Rywire is one place i know that have them but there are others.
