Default Cold Air Intake for JDM Civic Type R

Guys,

Can anyone tell me which of the AEM CAI will fit the 1997 JDM CTR? What other intakes are recommended. Will the AEM intake for the Integra Type R fit?

Thanks,
CG.

Is a CAI a good idea for a Civic Type R or should we be content with a drop in filter and the stock air intake?

CG.

AEM ITR CAI is the right application, both motors CTR & ITR are identical and have the proper clearence.

i would think an Si would be better... since it IS made for the civic chassis, and it's the same engine design (side-draft TB)...

The Si AEM CAI uses smaller diameter piping than the ITR version, though the smaller displacement of the B16B may not necessitate the ITR's larger piping (at least in stock form). As someone mentioned, the fitment of the Si version should definately be better than the ITR one though.
