I did my whole interior in POR-15 after I replaced the floor pans in my GN. I just used a disposable brush. It's holding up really well.

Here are pics I took. I replaced my entire floor pan in my GN and put this on to prevent surface rust. It's real easy to use. Pretty much just brush it on with a disposable paint brush.

I've used POR-15 on my Civic without much success and I attribute it to perhaps the fact that there was probably too much rust, but on portions where it was rather minimal, I found it started to flake off.

I didn't really like their 3 step process either...something that eastwood and rustbullet doesn't seem to have. If I had to do it again, I think I'd rather give eastwood or rustbullet a try.

Yeah, rust bullet recomends to knock off most of the loose rust and then paint, I did not follow any 'X-step' procedures. I did not have a lot of rust in my trunk, just small surface patches but everything seems to be holding up well.

Not to hijack the thread but wouldnt it make sense to maybe wirewheel some of the rust first and then apply one of the above?I would think if its applied over significant rust it wouldnt adhere too well?

i totally agree with siblues. i would atleast try to get off as much of the rust as possible first.

POR 15 actually tells you to just knock the loose rust off (do not wire wheel) and apply right over the rust. POR15 is a rust encapsulator and actually works best without too muych cleaning first.
