those are real.. the rotas have a satin black finish, its not so dull and ashy.. either that, or he did some paint work to make them look real..but i doubt it.

here are the rotas.

i would say they are SW388 cause of the dull fade the slipstreams have a more shiney look to them

wait a minute, I thought SW388's had a smooth edge outer lip, while the Slipstreams have the lip like shown there, where you can attach rim weights. It wouldn't exactly be very hard to make Slipstreams have a dull finish. Besides, I'm pretty sure SW388's don't come in that color.

*edit* now I'm seeing both SW388, Regamaster EVO, and Slipstreams w/ the outer lip like what is shown in that pic above. But I KNOW I've seen some w/ a smooth edge lip. Which one would that be?

they are real.

i have 16x7 spoons and i can tell you that in direct light they have an ashy dull grey finish to them, but when you step away they look black. that's what differentiates them from the rotas which look krylon black no matter where you are standing. as you can see in the 2 pictures even, they look black from far but grey from close. here's a closeup of mine:

ok, i wont let you lie. theyre slips painted with krylon primer #4

 

oh man im busted.. while i was at it i stamped them with "made in russia" and printed some desmond labels on my hp deskjet...

 

the ones youre making for me better look as good as yours

 

The 16in spoons are the ones with the smooth edged lip. The 15in spoons have the lip.

 

what an improvement those white rims made on his car too..

 

15's do, 16's dont.

 

just get some black rotas, and spray paint them flat black
