NEED HELP I HAVE A 88 CRX SI AND NEED SOME INFO ABOUT A MOTOR
I WAS THINKIN ABOUT PUTTING A JDM D15B YOU KNOW THE ONE WITH VTEC AND WHAT IM TRYIN TO ASK IS COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME INFO ABOUT THE MOTOR AND WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THE SWAP AND THE OUTCOME CUZ I WANT TO GO WITH SOMETHING CHEAP AND SOMETHING I COULD HAVE FUN WITH I HAD A 89 CIVIC SI WITH THE 1.6 DOHC ZC IN IT BUT NOW I KINDA WANT TO GO WITH A DIFFERENT ROUT SO PLZ HELP ME OUT THANKS.......

The d15b is a good motor for sohc. You can pick one up off http://www.tigerjapanese.com for like 450. I just bought my b20b from there and its a great motor.
The d15b makes the most hp of all sohc vtecs with 128.4 and has the strongest stock rods supposedly. The zc is a bastard cause its so hard to find parts for where the d15b you can use pretty much all z6 parts.
